Therapy for Bisexuals

Bisexuality/pansexuality is a complex identity. People who are bisexual are more likely to be closeted, survivors of interpersonal abuse, experiencing addiction/health concerns, or stereotyped as “confused.” Whether you are struggling to come out or make sense of your identity in a relationship, therapy can help you find sense of self and community. Therapy can support you in finding the sense of safety and community you are seeking.

Bisexual clients need therapists to be versed in queer/bisexual culture.  As a queer therapist myself, I am attuned to certain realities of life as a bisexual, while remaining aware of the differences in all our experiences. It’s hard to exist in an in-between area in a society that emphasizes certainty. If you are a bisexual client interested in individual or couples treatment, please reach out to schedule.
